Stage 1: Written Examination

Type: Objective Type (100 Questions / 100 Marks / 2 Hours).

Subjects: Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics), Science (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany), GK & Current Affairs.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 30% marks to qualify for the physical test.

Note: Written exam marks are not added to the final merit list

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 100 Marks The final merit list is prepared based on the total marks obtained in PET (Running, Shot Put, and High Jump).

• 1. Running (Max 50 Marks):

  • Male: 1 Mile (1.6 km) within 6 mins. (Full 50 marks if < 5 mins) .

  • Female: 1 km within 5 mins. (Full 50 marks if < 4 mins) .

• 2. Shot Put (Max 25 Marks):

  Male: 16 Pound shot, min 16 feet throw.

  Female: 12 Pound shot, min 12 feet throw.

• 3. High Jump (Max 25 Marks):

  Male: Min 4 feet.

  Female: Min 3 feet.
