EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

OPTION 1:
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours Nursing OR B.Sc Nursing from Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized Institute/University

OPTION 2:
Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from INC recognized Institute/Board/Council
+ 2 Years minimum experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring qualification

Registration Requirement:
All candidates must be registered as Nurse/Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council

Important Notes:
• Experience certificates must be on official letterhead with letter number, date of issue, and hospital bed strength
• Experience must be post-qualification experience
• Institute reserves right to reject candidature if proper experience certificate not provided

MODE OF SELECTION & EXAMINATION PATTERN

Two-Stage Selection Process:
Stage 1: Screening Examination (CBT) – Qualifying Only
Stage 2: Mains Examination (CBT) – Final Selection Based on this

Examination Details:
• Format: Computer Based Test (CBT) – Bilingual (Hindi & English)
• Duration: 2 Hours for both Screening & Mains
• Total Marks: 100 Marks for both exams
• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) Only

Syllabus/Question Pattern:
• Core Subject (Nursing): 60 Marks
• General English: 10 Marks
• General Knowledge: 10 Marks
• Reasoning: 5 Marks
• Mathematical Aptitude: 5 Marks

Marking Scheme:
• +1 Mark for each correct answer
• -0.25 Marks (1/4 mark) for each incorrect answer

Merit List Preparation:
• From Screening qualified candidates (category-wise), top 10x vacancies will be selected for Mains
• Final merit list prepared based on Mains exam marks only
• Separate merit lists for each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD)

  • Candidates currently in regular government/semi-government employment must submit NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC) from employer.
  • All candidates required to preserve soft and hard copies of application form at each step (registration, fee payment, final submit).
  • Eligibility criteria (age, qualification, experience, etc.) scrutinized at document verification stage – not during CBT.
  • Qualifications where recognition is pending will NOT be entertained – No correspondence in this regard.
  • If any information is suppressed or misrepresented, candidature can be cancelled at any stage.
  • Screening exam is qualifying only – Marks NOT included in Main exam or final merit list.
  • Final merit list prepared category-wise based solely on Main exam marks.
  • In case of tie between candidates with equal marks, resolving order: Age (Older placed higher) > Negative marks (Less placed higher) > Core subject marks > Application number (Earlier placed higher).
  • Pre-employment Medical Examination mandatory – Decision of Medical Board is final.
  • No Travelling Allowance (TA/DA) paid for exams, document verification, or joining.
  • Mobile phones and electronic devices strictly prohibited in examination centers.
  • Participation in agitation, protest, or strike leads to termination.
  • Any false information discovered after selection may lead to service termination even after joining.

  • No Objection Certificate (For government/semi-government employees)
  • Medical Fitness Certificate from authorized medical officer (if called)
  • Character Certificate from previous employer/institution
