Mandatory Trade/Professional Certificates
Cook: Training Certificate from Sector Skill Council (SSC) OR 1-year experience certificate from a registered Hotel/Institute (Registration No. must be on the certificate).
Barber: Training Certificate from SSC OR 1-year experience from a registered Saloon/Parlour.
Water Carrier: Training Certificate from Sector Skill Council (SSC).
Dhobi: Training Certificate from SSC OR 1-year experience from a registered Laundry/Dry Cleaner.
Cobbler: Training Certificate from SSC OR 2 years experience in leather work from a Govt Institute.
Plumber: Minimum 1-year Certificate course from a recognized ITI/Vocational Institute.
Selection Process
Preliminary Verification & Biometrics: Checking of Admit Card and ID Proof.
Medical Examination: A doctor will check for physical deformities and eyesight.
Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of Height, Chest, and Weight. This is qualifying only (No Marks).
Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) – 50 Marks:
This is the most important stage.
A panel of experts will test your skills in the trade you applied for (e.g., Cooking test for Cooks, Haircutting for Barbers).
Pass Mark: 33%.
Final Merit List: Based entirely on marks scored in this TPT
